Discover Your Talent And Get Employed!

This training course is focused on developing competences of youth workers for empowering young people by discovering and developing their talents in order to be able to successfuly apply for a job and to make good and conscious decisions in their life.
The aim of this training course is to enable youth workers to learn themselves better by a process with a self-directed learning approach; this self-knowledge will serve them better in helping the youth they work with to develop their talents and potential. The youth workers are in a clear position to directly apply their learning to their work with young people after this training course.

Aim/goal:

Objectives:
• To support participants to become more aware of themselves and in doing so, to be enabled to make conscious choices and decisions that fit with their goals in their professional life.
• To provide participants with some tools to support the young people they work with through a similar process.
• To provide tools to be more self-aware of the skills and competences the person has.
• To provide tools that will show the awareness of what the participants are able to do (success).
• To look how you can rely on powerless, inconvenient feelings and deal constructively with them.
• To discover the Erasmus Plus programme and its actions as a tool to support the objectives of this training.

The approach and methodology:
This training course will be based on non-formal and informal education with a self-directed learning approach. The training course will be developed from the expectations and needs of the participants and the experience and knowledge from the trainers. The training course will be characterized by highly participatory, interactive and experiential methods. The working methods will include case studies, working in pairs and small groups, team building activities, discussions, workshops developed by the participants and self-assessment.

Target group:
Youth workers, project leaders, educators and basically anyone who is involved in youth work. Each partner is going to send 3 participants.

Financial conditions:
The food and accommodation will be provided and paid by the organizers. Travels costs will be counted by distance calculator provided by European Commission and reimbursed by bank transfer after the course.
There is NO participation fee for this training course.
