Daily Life Practices and Advocacy Training for the Families of Disabled (A Prepared Strategic Partnership Project)
-The target audience of the project is "families responsible for the care of the disabled"
-The general purpose of the project is “advocacy education in daily life practices for the families of disabled, in the context of transformative learning”. The sub-objectives for this general purpose are as follows:
1) With the transformative learning method, rising awareness of the problems experienced by families and the creation of meaning charts,
2) Establishing a "advocacy" education module for disabled rights,
3) Making pilot courses/educational modules embedded in daily life practices,
4) Conducting social visibility (flash mobs, social experiment videos with positive attitude in urban spaces, displaying posters, cultural / sports activities with the leadership of the disabled) with the participation of disabled people, their families and adult educators,
5) Preparing a sustainable education / guidance program for families of disabled and presenting this program to decision makers.
- The methodology of the project are transformative androgogic methods.
- Project is an innovative application.
- Project duration is 24 months. "
