Competitive Youth Workers in Support of Young Vulnerable People

The Directorate for Social Assistance – Municipality of Piatra Neamt, wishes to apply within E+ 2019, with the deadline of 1 October 2019, with the project "Competitive Youth Workers in Support of Young Vulnerable People", which provides the mobility of youth workers in order to develop non-formal and informal education competences with young people in vulnerable situations, at risk of marginalization and social exclusion (poverty, poor education and health, lack of a decent work place and decent housing, come from the child protection system, intolerance, physical and verbal violence, bullying etc.)
We are looking for a partner who:
- Has experience in social work;
- Has experience in implementing E + projects (training, good practices and youth workers mobility);
- Has experience in non-formal and informal education, in the field of youth in vulnerable situations, at risk of marginalization and social exclusion;
- Provides trainers with training courses for youth workers, as well as the practical part of the course;
- Provides a 7-day training course for 16 youth workers (8 Romanians and 8 from the host country), where the training sessions will focus on acquiring skills on non-formal and informal education in order to overcome the vulnerability situation the young person who comes into contact with the youth worker (supporting integration into society, combating stereotypes and various forms of discrimination, inclusive of school segregation, promoting summing up common values, developing social, civic and intercultural competences, personal development of the young man, fighting the phenomenon of bullying);
- The profile of the Youth Worker: social worker, psychologist, sociologist, educator, who is working in day centers, residential centers or on the ground at the young vulnerable's home;
- Ensures the group of 8 youth workers + 1 leader;
- Does the intensive training course on the 7-day course so that 80% of the course is for the development of professional competences and 20% for introductory sessions, personal and conclusive development, taking into account the profile of the participants;
- Ensures modern logistics and infrastructures during the 7 days of the course;
- Ensures accommodation / hosting and leisure time in appropriate structures.
