Close-up: Europe in Stereo(types)

Getting to know the Europeans by studying national stereotypes in 3D: character feature, sport and degree of poverty - that's the aim of the project!

We are a group of 14 young people from Komorów (a town of 6000 inhabitants near Warsaw, Poland) aged 13-14. We want to get to know culture and different lifestyles of the Europeans (Europe - understood as a continent and not only the Community of EU) by examining existing stereotypes in three dimensions: specific character feature of a nationality, the most popular national sport and the degree of poverty of a country. Basing on research done by the two groups of young people participating in the project we want to create a big 3D European map of stereotypes. We have already planned some other follow-up actions that can be held basing on the outcomes of the research.
If you are interested in different sounds of Europe, try them out in Stereo(types) and join us in our project!
