CAMP OF CULTURAL HERITAGE
Cultural heritage; is a collection of all kinds of artifacts and objects belonging to a collection that are inherited from the past and to be inherited future for various reasons.
Our project aimed to raise the awareness of the young people about their cultural heritage and the cultural heritage of other nations. Also we aim to provide young people with a consciousness of the world cultural heritage which actually includes all nations and countries. By preserving our cultural heritage we serve to protect the world cultural heritage.
In recent years, prejudices formed between different cultures have turned into conflicts. As the cosmopolitan structure expands in European countries, the effects of multicultural life have increased negativities at the point of view of each other and led to conflicts of language, religion and race.
In line with the project’s aims, we will arrange a Cultural Heritage Camp in which young people will present their cultural heritage to the other participants and establish common bridges between different cultures. In the camp, the participants will serve to create a consciousness to protect the common heritage of the world, as well as to contribute to intercultural dialogue and cooperation.
The participants will include young people whose age ranges from 18-28 years and to provide gender equality, we will choose equal number of female and male participants. Participants are expected to be actively involved in local, regional, national and international projects and activities, interested in different cultures and in competence to promote the cultural heritage of the countries. During the camp the participants are supposed to organize activities to promote concrete and intangible cultural heritage.
