CALL FOR APPLICANT ORGANISATION/UNIVERSITIES KEY ACTION 2 STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP HIGHER EDUCATION : Train HEIs to use Europass tools

Train project fosters innovation by ensuring that every HEI could have the appropriate information needed.

The issue
Developing European tools and principles has stimulated dialogue among a wide range of stakeholders, including governments, social partners and HEIs. A shared understanding of qualifications and how can be related to each other is a “hot topic” today. One important tool is “Europass”, which supports people to communicate their knowledge, skills and competences acquired through education, training or work experience.

Our Proposed Project
is the answer towards connecting HEIs with labor market by improving their access to information. Our project proposal fosters innovation by ensuring that every HEI could have the appropriate information needed. In this framework, we will design an e-learning training programme , which will teach them the importance of Europass tools in their work.
The main target groups will be staff, teachers and students. Within this context, our main goals are:
• Incorporating Europass tools to HEIs training skills;
• Increasing the popularity of Europass tools in HEIs;
• Supporting educators and administrative staff to include new skills, procedures and instructional methods in daily operation and training;
In details our project is related with the following priorities:
• Horizontal Priorities
 Supporting educators, youth workers, educational leaders and support staff,
Our proposal will be given to actions that strengthen the professional development of educators (e.g. teachers, trainers, professors, tutors, mentors, coaches, staff in early childhood education and care) and support staff (e.g. teaching assistants, career counsellors, human resource specialists in companies).
• Field-Specific Priorities
 Introducing systematic approaches to, and opportunities
Our proposal promotes the initial and continuous professional development of academic teachers, trainers and mentors in both school and work-based settings, as well as through the development of effective digital, open and innovative education and pedagogies, as well as practical tools; raising the attractiveness of the professions for academic teachers, trainers, mentors and leaders.
 Developing partnerships supporting the setting up and implementation of internationalization strategies for HEIs
Our proposal aims at putting in place the necessary support mechanisms as well as contractual frameworks to promote quality mobility of staff including promoting the automatic mutual recognition of qualifications and learning outcomes.
Main Activities
• A1: Assessment of prior learning of existing knowledge of HEIs in Europass tools
• A2: Design an e-training programme tailored to the needs of HEIs, which will include all Europass tools.
• A3: Pilot the online training programme
• A4: Organization of workshops between the partner countries’ HEIs, in the view of exchanging their feedback to the pilot training.
