Bridging Differences Through Dance

In this project, we will use the power of dance to establish our own inclusive and cohesive European community.

During this project, the partner organizations will exchange cultural characteristics and search for good practices in this field. Through dance, bodywork and improvisation, we will focus on the cooperation between people with different backgrounds, support creativity and tackle radicalism.

The objectives of the project are:
1. The use of traditional dancing as a tool of intercultural dialogue and social inclusion of disfavored groups of people, especially migrants, long-term unemployed, persons living in poverty, etc.
2. The reinforcement of the interest of the citizens to learn traditional dancing and consequently the preservation of cultural identity which plays a highly significant role in the society’s "cultural development".
3. To facilitate the inclusion of people from different backgrounds in dancing activities, by supporting the education in and through traditional dances in an open and safe environment where everyone can freely participate and develop their social, civic, soft skills in the field of sport, including also people from disadvantaged groups.
