Be your own leader!

We will develop a win-win-win programme that brings together volunteers, young people and local communities to respond to the societal challenges.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Reduced level of participation of youth from Constanta community in societal actions determined us to put efforts in analyzing the causes, effects and look for solutions to address the societal challenges. The lack of interest in participate in social activities, extracurricular activities or volunteering activities affects the personal development of each individual as well as the entire community. The consequences include low level of tolerance for other communities, religions, nationalities, cultures and even gender. Further to our research, one of the most important societal need seemed to be “critical thinking skills”. Therefore, we strive to develop the youth critical thinking skills to enhance observation, analysis, reflection, evaluation, problem solving and decision making. In addition, we are fully confident that the volunteering approach will increase motivation, interest and civic and professional development of participants from Constanta town.
