Be a volunteer on a beautiful island of Estonia - SAAREMAA!

Kuressaare Youth Hobby Centre’s aim is to offer activities that help young people to develop themselves. We work with youth aged 7-26. Our organisation has 2 buildings where youth can spend their free time. In summers the youth centres are closed and we work in a beach. In KYHC we have 5 full time youth workers, 11 part time or full time teachers and Director who coordinates the work. We want to give the future volunteers opportunity to learn about Estonia and youth work in Kuressaare. We’d love to share youth work ideas with our partners and develop our organisation's work with the help of volunteers.
We are looking for 2 volunteers. Desirably the candidates have experience in either acting (drama club / social theatre) or in extreme sports (skateboard / roller skates / bikes). We expect one of the volunteers to start a drama group for youth and the other volunteer to teach the extreme sports techniques to youth and help youth to practice their extreme sports. We also expect the volunteers to bring in their culture/skills/ideas to enrich our organisation’s work and have a nice time in Saaremaa!
We’re welcome to volunteers from any EU country, Turkey, Croatia, Iceland, Liechtenstein or Norway. The volunteer must be willing to work with children and youth. He/she has to be collaborative and reliable. The volunteer should be interested in working with children and youth, he/she should speak fluent English, being initiative, flexible and able to work both independently and in a team. He/she has to be 18-30 years old.
