The Partner-Finding Tool
The training aims to promote active citizenship and increase skills of y/workers with a view to innovating and improving quality of y/work in animal welfare.
The training course ‘Active citizenship as a way to tackle socio-environmental issues’ aims to promote active citizenship and increase level of competences of youth workers with a view to innovating and improving the quality of youth work. We will focus on a subject that is overlooked in the youth work generally and especially in Eastern Europe: active citizenship and volunteering as an enjoyable way of helping promote animal welfare.
The project we would like to implement will fill a gap in competences of youth workers so that they are able to offer new diverse activities and projects that better respond to the need to protect pet animals. This is an innovative element of this training which will help to expand area of work, increase capacity, attractiveness and international dimension of organisations involved. We also will focus on cross-field partnership (for example, youth organisations and animal protection groups) as this is a need for all youth organisations in order to expand and make their activities more diverse and beneficial for target group, and this need is in line with Erasmus+ objectives ( cross-field cooperation).
During the training, the participants will learn theoretical and practical elements, and will be able to expand their international network.
Number of participants from each organisation – max 3.
Participants: youth workers or active members of organisation, who are willing to implement some activities after the training as a part of follow up strategy.
Please, be aware, this is not a youth exchange for young people.
