Act Local Be Social 2020

Act Local Be Social 2020 is a training course for Youth Workers from across the EU focusing on techniques to engage and mobilise young people in campaigning.

Running in London from 12th-19th April 2020, Creative Opportunities are building on the programme we ran in 2018, Supporting Youth to Act Local Be Social, and looking at the ways in which Youth Workers can best support the campaigning skills of the young people they work with.

We'll be covering community organising techniques, looking at building a transferable analysis of power, as well as making sure that campaigns are inclusive and accessible from their inception.
