Youth Priorities Association

Youth Priorities Association is non-profit organisation founded in Benkovski, South Bulgaria in 2016.
It aim to create opportunities for development of the young people in the region through informal and non-formal education.
YP’s mission is to help young people have the necessary resources to take active part in social, economic, civic and democratic life of the country and EU.
We believe that the young people have the energy and the desire to create better future for themselves and their families and better life conditions in the region, they just need some support.
The young people in the organisation initiate voluntary activities in order to help for local community problems.
Youth Priorities Association develops national and international projects for youth in three main directions which are in unison with the EU Youth Priorities involved in the EU Youth Strategy 2019-2027: Engage, Connect, Empower.
Our team is from 9 young people, professionals in different areas: Project Manager, Lawyer, Digital media Expert, Financial expert, English teacher, Youth experts, Entrepreneurs. We have 47 volunteers and members.
Our team members have acquired knowledge and skills through different trainings, internships, EU programmes and educational visits in Seoul, Oslo, United Arab Emirates, Brussels, Bratislava, Madrid.
The organisation has offices and youth hubs in Benkovski and Sofia.
Currently, we are working on three international and one national projects:
1. "Different Together" under Active Citizens Fund, EEA Grants 2014-2021;
2. "Twinned Towns: Engage, Connect, Empower" - https://www.facebook.com/twinnedtowns/under Europe for citizens programme;
3. "Pathways to Empowerment in Cultural Entrepreneurship" under Ministry of culture, EEA Grants 2014-2021;
4. "Entrepreneurs with a Cause" under the National Youth Programme 2014-2020, Ministry of Youth and Sports.
