Vocational Education and Training VET Center Plamak 96

VET Center "Plamak-96" was established in Berkovitsa, Bulgaria in 1996. Since its establishment the Center is licensed by the National Employment Decree № 6 of the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare on the terms, conditions and requirements for organizing qualification and motivation training.

We are implementing courses for re-training and further education of unemployed people and re-qualification courses for employed people who decided to change their profession. Our vocational training courses are targeted mainly to persons aged between 16 - 30, but not only, and cover a wide range of professions and specialties such as: Tailor – textile and design, Builder - all specialties of the profession, Chef, Waiter, Bartender, herb-gathering, a computer and software operator/programmer, entrepreneurship, etc.

We have a well prepared team of experts and trainers, including university professors, businessmen, school teachers, profession practitioners, etc. Due to our extensive expertise we can provide services for organization of training courses in various fields, for development and design of training programmes, innovative training tools and workbooks, research, studies and to produce other creative intellectual outputs.

We have successfully participated as applicant and partner in several international and national projects and therefore have the necessary experience on project work.

Along with the vocational education PLAMAK aims to promote the conditions for development in the sector of NGOs and civic initiatives aimed at human rights, development of civil society and European values in the field of intercultural dialogue. We pay special attention to the international cooperation with countries outside the EU. Also our focus is on strengthening the relationship between VET Centers, Schools and NGOs, and business environment in order to remove the socio-cultural obstacles. Our goal is to achieve synergies that will give greater opportunities for actions to the European society.
