UNAD was created in 1985, and is currently the Network of Attention to Addictions and the largest non-governmental organization (NGO) in Spain and Europe dedicated to the subject of addictions with and without substance. Today we are around 230 entities spread across the country.
Through these organizations we serve more than 200,000 people with addiction problems and more than 1,000,000 citizens thanks to the work of more than 3,000 volunteers and close to 35,000 professionals. Our work is also possible thanks to the subsidies from the Ministry of Health, Social Services and Equality, the Government Delegation for the National Plan on Drugs, the European Union, the Autonomous Communities and the City Councils, and the contributions of various private entities.
