TOURISM MANAGEMENT / UNIVERSITY OF WEST ATTICA

The University of West Attica was created in 2018 as a result of the merger of TEI. Athens and the Piraeus University of Applied Sciences (PUAS) - former name TEI Piraeus - .
The University of West Attica has 2 campuses. The 1st campus is located at Agios Spyridonos Street in Egaleo. The 2nd campus is located at Thivon Street in Egaleo. The institution also has branches such as the Building on Athinon & Mitrodorou Avenue 24 and the MITERA Infant Center in Ilion. Both campuses have conference centers, libraries, restaurants, gyms, health services, student advocate, canteens and leisure facilities for students

The University of West Attica as a merge of two former TEI institutions has experience in European projects and in Tempus Programmes (please see the chart of the Projects that we have managed in the last three years).

As a Higher Education Institute, our scientific personnel have experience relevant with education Projects and a variety of educational methods such as e-learning, digital learning, transfer of Knowhow for education to industry sector, etc.

The Department of Tourism Management covers research and educational needs in the field of economic analysis and in tourism as well as in other areas of economic science related to economic and social development.
It also aims at exploring and implementing innovative educational methods for the education of students and the lifelong education of the graduates of Business Administration / Tourism Management and Hospitality Management Divisions using new technologies both in the subjects required for a degree and at a postgraduate level or at a level of professional qualification.

Within the framework of the dissemination of the results of the research and the application on the market, the Department produces and implements models, procedures and tools of the New Information and Communication Technologies for the needs of conventional and remote and multiform education, vocational training and training in the field of Tourism.
