Red Española de entidades por el empleo Red Araña

Founded in 1987, Red Araña was created to be a link between different associations with a fundamental goal: to create tools and strategies in labour matters. Nowadays, the Spanish Network of Entities for Employment, Red Araña (hereinafter, La Red) gives support to 22 associations from all over Spain.
Red Araña develops close to 70 projects per year, including the design and the efficient development of these projects as well as the achievement of the objectives.

SUPPORTING ACTIONS

- Facilitate contacts and meetings between the entities of La Red for the planning of actions carried out jointly throughout the Spanish and European territory.
- Act as interlocutor before the different Institutions, either public or private, to obtain the resources for La Red.
- Ensure the public image of La Red, supervising all aspects related to communication and information.
- Collaborate in the organisation of all events, whether public or internal, such as meetings, seminars, talks, forums, colloquia, reports, studies, press releases and other events and publications.
- Represent La Red in the various tables, whether sector, platform, association, network, cooperation or other that involve the expression of opinions that are not binding but that show the position of La Red.
- Supervise the actions of La Red, as well as that of its partners, in order to promote transparency in the transmission of information to the different institutions providing resources.
- Verify that the actions developed by collaborating associations, under the logo of La Red, comply with the minimum quality parameters required.

OBJECTIVES: THE STARTING POINT

The basic purposes of the Association are:
- Promote acts that accept the socio-labour insertion of the unemployed with the attention to vulnerable groups: young people, women, drug addicts, ethnic minorities, immigrants, etc.
- Group, coordinate and facilitate the development of the largest number of social entities that work on socio-labour insertion.
- Generate sustainable business experiences, committed to their environment, which allows access to the labour market for people with greater difficulties.
- Promote the social economy, and ongoing professionals training programs for employed people

FROM UNEMPLOYMENT TO SOCIOLABOURAL INSERTION

Our mission is to respond to the problem of unemployment, promote actions that allow the sociolabour integration of the unemployed, with special attention to groups at risk of exclusion.
Red Araña is known as a reference association in Spain to entrepreneurship, due to the fact that La Red provides incentives for production projects through advice, training, mentoring, networking and Access to credit and seed capital for business start-ups.
On the other hand, Red Araña tries to promote local development and facilitate collaboration between social entities and other interest groups that work in promoting employment and networking, sharing tools and experiences with partner organisations.
Red Araña will contribute to all parts of the project and will lead specific activities alongside STP as part of its development as a novice partner.
