PIJ MOULINS - VILTAÏS

The Point Information Jeunesse of Moulins (also known as the PIJ or in English the Youth Information Center) is an organization that is well known from the youth of the conurbation of Moulins.

It is a welcome, information, guidance and support center. It informs the local youth in different topics such as studies, jobs, lifelong learning, leisure, daily life, holiday, sports, internships, health and accommodation. Different services are available within the PIJ such as the documentary area where we provide the youth with a lot of documentation on the diverse topics; the computer workstation where people can use computers to print their resumes, do some research and also the information area.

The public is quite varied: students, young people out of school, unemployed young people or young people in difficulty.

The PIJ organizes yearly many events that are free and open to everyone. Among its different actions, the PIJ raises the youth’s awareness concerning the question of international and European mobility that is becoming more and more important in today’s world.

The two informers and the other members of the center are always ready to answer all the different questions and to accompany the youth in their procedures. The center works with more than 15,000 young people. As a consequence, it provides many services for the youth.

The PIJ works in collaboration with a lot of different partners within the conurbation of Moulins. It has also been involved in the Erasmus + program since 2011 and has put in place a lot of events throughout the year around employment, summer jobs suggesting events around summer jobs or also job datings. It also organizes actions on the topics of health, road safety, accomodation, daily life, budget, business creation.
