Organisation "Get on board"

“Get on board” is a non-governmental organisation based in Sofia, Bulgaria.

Our team consist of enthusiastic professionals with different backgrounds and our aim is to see a difference in the world.
Before existing as a legal entity, the team operated as a non-formal group being active supporting different causes and other local NGOs. The members were volunteering during different European initiatives, during Charity bazaars, supporting causes that fight for equal opportunities to people with disabilities, during youth unemployment events giving to other young people more clear insight of the stages of the recruitment cycle and many more.
The main goal of the organisation is to give non-formal educational possibilities to the young people, in different fields, at local and international level, including youth unemployment, discrimination in all its forms, hate speech; digital literacy, to promote the idea of volunteerism and to connect young people without reference to their nationality, religion,
political, economical or social status. We are putting effort to develop a multicultural civil society, to reinforce the existing democratic structure, to
enhance the affirmation of young people through their individual abilities and skills, and to connect the young people with the purpose of their closer
cooperation. In our work we are putting a special focus on promoting ecological and eco-friendly behavior. Recently, the organization is very active
in raising awareness about the digitalization of youth and youth organizations since the topic is very relevant nowadays and enables easier and more
efficient communication in the international environment. Our members can participate in various local and international projects: seminars and trainings, study visits, youth exchanges, ecological and social actions and many more.
