Modern Azerbaijan Youth

Modern Azerbaijan Youth (MAY) is a dynamic non-profit, non-governmental, and non-political organization, founded in Azerbaijan. Our core focus revolves around empowering the youth, promoting education, facilitating charitable initiatives,
encouraging volunteerism, and fostering cultural exchange. As an organization dedicated to youth development, we aim to inspire the young population, enhance their skills, and raise awareness about the challenges faced by disadvantaged youth. Our mission is to support these young individuals in finding their place in society, providing them with opportunities to contribute their time and talents to improve both
their communities and the world at large. Additionally, we strive to equip them with essential leadership skills and educate them about environmental awareness.
Main Aims:
• Leisure Time Development: Our primary goal is to enrich the leisure time of
young individuals within society, offering them engaging activities that promote
personal growth and community involvement.
• Informative Space Creation: We endeavour to create an informative platform that
caters to diverse groups within society, encouraging active participation and
democratic engagement among youth, children, and adults.
• Initiative Harmonization: Through sharing examples of best practices, we aspire to inspire and harmonize initiatives that promote youth involvement in society-
building.
• Promotion of Non-Formal Education: We actively advocate for and utilize non-
formal education methods in our work with youth and various societal groups, ensuring a well-rounded approach to personal and collective growth.
• Support for Disadvantaged Youth: Our organization places special emphasis
on supporting disadvantaged youth groups, including individuals with autism, Down syndrome, and other challenges, helping to facilitate their smooth
integration into society.
• Multicultural Awareness: We aim to increase cultural awareness and appreciation among young people, fostering an environment that embraces
diversity and celebrates various cultural values.

• Information Dissemination: Through various channels, we share information about projects, training opportunities, youth exchanges, travel tours, makeup competitions, seminars, and more.

• Environmental, Health, and Consumer Awareness: Our organization actively promotes environmental awareness and encourages responsible and sustainable practices. We also prioritize health and consumer protection education.
• Participation in National and Local Events: Our participants often take part in organizing national and local events, contributing to the success of major events.

Experience and Network:
Our organization boasts a team of passionate and experienced individuals, many of whom have participated in Erasmus+ and other volunteer projects in various countries. They possess proficiency in multiple foreign languages, allowing them to effectively communicate and collaborate with people from diverse cultures, languages, and backgrounds.
