Metta Association

Metta Association is a non-profit organisation based in Slovenia. Most of our activities are focused on young people and take place on a small organic farm in a beautiful surroundings. They aim to promote personal growth and integrity as well as encourage a happy, healthy and wholesome way of life.

We work with people by values of honesty, friendship, and respect.

In all our projects we try to create a safe and encouraging environment in which each individual's potential can grow and flourish. A loving and responsible attitude towards oneself, other people and the environment is a foundation base of all our efforts.

Many of our activities are focused on healthy lifestyle and alternative ways of life. Lots of attention is also given to environmental issues, ecology, permaculture and sustainable development. We cherish art, creativity and cultural diversity. In whatever we do, we put much importance to a non-violent communication, tolerance and social inclusion.

In order to enhance an intercultural dialogue and create more opportunities for informal learning, we organise international youth exchanges, training courses and workshops on various relevant topics.
