Thinking together about the future

M.E.E.T. like meeting… associating… gathering people, ideas and experiences to turn change into opportunities of improvement.
We created a virtual and real space in order to reflect and develop proposal to help people making important choices:
1. The choice of High school and then University or work;
2. Professional orientation and active job searching;
3. The transition between working life and retirement.
The key of innovation and research opens new scenarios to face up to an ever-changing society.
In order to translate these ideas into concrete actions, M.E.E.T constituted groups concerning school, work and innovation with the purpose of developing projects and services which are presented in our website.

Changing is a constant with our society but it seems that people do not always understand how to deal with it.
M.E.E.T.’s mission is focused on finding solutions to deal with changes that occur in the field of work and school.
The Association aims at stimulating reflection on changes, gathering professionals that, not only are able to give solutions, but think carefully about the best way to accompany people through changes.
Our purpose is to reflect on how to address challenges in work and education, making new methodology available for Institutions that provide services in such fields and moving from a project-based perspective towards an approach focused on services and active policies.

The Association aims at developing new ways and methods to deal with these issues, connecting and broadening various knowledge, skills and know-how.
M.E.E.T’s proposal is not connected to a passive respond to calls for tenders or to immediate need. Working through a different and innovative perspective means make stakeholders aware of the importance of these issues and provide proposals constantly and regardless of funding opportunities.
M.E.E.T. builds relationships with public entity, private bodies and private-social organizations in order to plan and implement positive action in the field of work, education and social innovation.
The Association does not directly deal with concrete actions but it works together with accredited bodies (local authorities, training agencies, schools and social cooperatives), working through a network-based and subsidiary approach.
