We have two youth mentors to supervise youth in action and EVS programmes besides a full time youth coordinator namely Dr. M.R Mishra who has done his Ph.D in adolescent youth health and youth Human rights and has outstanding experiences in promoting MDG focusing on IMR and MMR reduction in Odisha (Odisha has the highest IMR/MMR in India). Dr. M.R Mishra will be the main responsible for this project as he can contribute his skill and expertise in the field of health, human rights youth policies and MDG promotion.
We are interested to join this project to promote MDG ( especially relating to Child and maternal mortality ) as India is stuglling hard to achieve these health goals by 2015.The project will complement and supplement the efforts of Government of India in reducing the IMR and MMR and in achieving the MDG goals by involving youth as change agents.
