IYER - International Youth Empowerment Randers

IYER – is a new association funded in January 2018.
4 people experienced in local and international youth work are the initiators behind IYER. The motivation for this new initiative is to offer opportunities for local youth of Randers to develop their international competences and to give them cultural experiences through mobility and European projects and partnerships.
IYER also offers learning opportunities and trainings to youth workers.

IYER works with non-formal learning concepts, and has experience in theatre, drama pedagogy, and development for personal and social competences, outdoor life and experimental learning, teambuilding and high performance, mentor work with disadvantaged youngsters and young offenders and their families.
Our special interest is developing the personal and social competences of young people. In these days we meet a lot of youngsters who are struggeling with different issues, such as stress, anxiety, eating disorders, cutting, and loneliness etc.
