"IMPULS" INFORMATION AND EDUCATION CENTER, NGO
NGO "Impuls" was founded in 2010 in little town Skole in Lvivs region. Our main idea is to promote and support after-school education in Skole district in the context of life long learning.
In cooperation with local authorities, schools, village houses of culture, business organizations, NGO "Impuls" provides trainings, summer schools, cultural meeting and other activities for local community. People participating in those activities live in faraway, rural region, have no possibility to leave their households for a long time, so our projects are often the only opportunity for their personal and professional development. Approximately 70% of the our audience are young people from 14 to 29 years.
Past projects
Young Directors for Green Future
In this project we'll make our own films using smatphones that will bring up a topic of ecology and organize Film Festival to show our works to local community.
Time for the Folk
Idea is to interest youth in folk art. We will teach each other techniques, used by local artists in our countries and learn how villagers lived in the past.
