Il Circo Pace e Bene

Il Circo Pace e Bene, funded in 2015 is an independent cultural warehouse and community space located in the center of Sicily, created with the vision of transforming forgotten spaces into places of connection, creativity and collective growth. The organisation brings together people from different countries, cultures and artistic backgrounds through cultural activities, social projects, workshops, events and shared daily experiences. We host ESCvolunteers every year.
Il Circo Pace e Bene works as an open laboratory of ideas where art becomes a tool for communication, inclusion and community building. The space hosts activities connected to music, visual arts, performance, crafts, sustainability, education, intercultural dialogue, and restanza, encouraging participants to actively contribute with their own skills, perspectives and creativity.
The organisation believes in collaboration, mutual support and non-formal learning as powerful ways to create meaningful human connections. Through local and international projects, volunteering experiences and community initiatives, participants are encouraged to learn from one another, exchange knowledge and develop both personally and professionally in an inclusive and welcoming environment.
A strong focus is also placed on sustainability, reuse and social impact. Many of the activities developed within the space involve recycling, upcycling, collective construction, community care and the regeneration of spaces through creativity and participation. The organisation aims to create a safe and inspiring environment where people feel free to express themselves, experiment, share ideas and become active members of a creative community.
Also we believe in the best practice of "Restanza" that means that people from inner areas have the right to choose to stay and live there even tho the opportunities are not the same as in big city centers, we offer workshops and other activities regariding this topic.
More than just a cultural centre, Il Circo Pace e Bene and the fisical palce Magazzino Culturale are a living and evolving space shaped by the people who pass through it.. It's a meeting point for artists, volunteers, travellers, local communities and anyone searching for authentic human connection, cultural exchange and creative freedom.
