Group for Children and Youth "Indigo"

The vision of the Group for Children and Youth “Indigo” is: children and youth live, develop, participate and create in a democratic society which provides quality education, social protection, health care and cultural contents, and values activism, creativity, interculturality, non-violence and antifascism. Its mission is: creation of adequate conditions for life, development, participation and creativity of children and youth by improving education, social protection and health care, supporting the creation of cultural contents and promoting activism, interculturality, non-violence and antifascism.
It was founded in September 2013 by a group of dedicated professionals with a long-term experience in the civil sector in Serbia and the vision of serving and advocating for children and youth, especially from the poor backgrounds and communities. We are committed to assisting the children and youth in need, especially those with the experience of migration, discrimination and difficulties in social and educational inclusion. The main area of focus of the organisation is informal education, art, participation and advocacy for quality services for children and youth.
We are a partner of UNHCR and UNICEF.
