Gesamteuropäisches Studienwerk e.V.

GESW (Gesamteuropäisches Studienwerk/Pan-European Educational Center) in Vlotho, Germany is a non-profit educational center for young people and adults from Western, Central and Eastern Europe. We offer youth exchanges and trainings and organize conferences and conventions in the field of civic education and democracy.
Our educational program is aimed at promoting democratic values and European integration. We initiate discussions and debates among our participants for them to come to well-informed opinions and positions. Furthermore we encourage active democratic participation in German and European societies.
GESW was founded in 1954 by a citizens’ initiative. Since then we have been engaging ourselves in local, regional, national and international networks and in forming a strong, united Europe.
