Fundatia ARTOPROD

Our foundation is a Non-profit/Non-Governmental Organization based in Romania (Ramnicu Valcea district).
ARTOPROD was created in January 2008, with the objective to support disadvantaged groups to develop their personal and professional skills that contributes to their social inclusion. Foundation supports the integration into job market to all of those who face difficulties in accessing a job due to discriminatory criteria’s and to the lack of equal access to education, training and professional development, environment and social protection actions and personal development programs.

Our mission is to create and implement specific mechanisms that facilitates equal access to resources and opportunities for personal and professional development.

Our vision is to develop an inclusive society that values and develops visibility, autonomy, responsibility and participation of all its members.

Our values are solidarity, participation, tolerance, diversity and professional development.

Our objectives:
- To increase the level of social inclusion of young people in Romania by identifying best practices and transfer of expertise within partnerships.
- Exchange of experiences, expertise and good practice in youth field and youth organizations.
- Influencing public policy in the social inclusion of young people.
- The development of a strategic partnership concerning the development of policies for social inclusion of young people at local, regional, national and transnational level.
- Organizes free trips and displacements for people with low economical potential by using ways of transportation and material resources obtained through the foundation.
- Supports social assistance in order to integrate into society people with disabilities, poorer members of society, orphans and children coming from disunited families.
- Brings material support, medical assistance and medical supplies to elderly families with low incomes.
- Collaborates with other Foundations and similar organizations inside and outside the country in order to collect donations.
- Conducts activities concerning work placement, testing and technical analysis.
- Contributes to nursing and treating the elderly, to those in need and those who suffer from social injustice.

Our activities:
-Training: We provide with creative learning methods and resources (trainings, workshops, seminars and counseling) that help fewer opportunities groups to discover, perfection and develop their personal and professional abilities.
- Vocational education (VE): We prepare trainees for jobs related to a specific, occupation, or vocation supporting them in their career and professional development.
- Find and develop different methods to combat the actual problems of the society: stereotypes, unemployment, racism, and other factors that stand in front of humanity development.
- Real support facing our neighbors poverty, disability, social exclusion, human degradation.
- Eradication of poverty and other additional activities includes social protection, child rights, prevention of illiteracy, scholarships for underprivileged children, combating human trafficking, combating early postpartum mothers, mentoring programs for children and youth, women's rights , education and urban development, shelters for children and women subjected to abuse and violence, orphans placement assistance and care for the elderly, helping people homeless, the social integration of ethnic minority groups, refugees, asylum-seekers.
- Assist and support the vulnerable: the elderly, widows, orphans, children and families on low income, disabled, pregnant women, single parents and assist and help the social reinsertion people have been subjected to all forms of physical, mental, sexual.
- Supporting the disadvantaged groups of our community, through health, social and educational programs and supporting the development of the local communities.

We fight to integrate the young/adult people in a social group which are discriminated because of poverty, racism or the environment where they live.
Also, the foundation wants to develop an informational flow that is necessary for the gaining of European values and for the practicing of a pro-European attitudinal set.
We collaborate with many NGO's from Romania and abroad regarding youth initiatives, community related actions and activities.
