FoTA

FoTA is a politically and religiously free, non-profit and non-governmental organisation founded in Sweden in June 2013.

Our vision is to bridge young people in Scandinavia and the Balkans, to support and empower youth in these two regions through strengthening and increasing their cooperation, to promote mutual awareness, knowledge and curiosity between Scandinavia and the Balkans, and to support local projects and organisations in the Balkans, all this within the framework of sustainable social and community development.

Our mission is to organise and participate in youth exchanges and trainings in the Balkans and Scandinavia, cooperate with partner organisations in the two regions to develop local projects with the focus on sustainable social and community development, and to create a space for and utilise existing opportunities for mutual awareness, knowledge and curiosity about Scandinavia and the Balkans. We believe that young people as well as organisations from these two geographic regions have a lot to learn and give to each other, regarding their rich cultural background and various life experience.
