The Social Cooperative Company FILOERGOS was founded in late 2014 posing as main fields of activity:

1. reviving the preservation and evolution of arts traditionally practiced in the region of Messinia and the preservation of relevant know-how that now is at risk being lost along with the few elders artisans who still survive, such as art of clay, sericulture and silk crafts, the professions associated with the horse, etc.,

2. Sustainable agriculture and especially the highlighting and documenting the role of Mediterranean olive grove in the environmental balance of the region,

3. The emergence and visibility of multilateral cultural potential of Messinia widely and in particular of our municipality (Civililization of Nestor)

4. Promoting or reviving sports activities and sports in their original form, with the organization of the relevant racing events and especially with the revival of ancient stadiums (specialy the stadioum of ancient Messene)

5. Combined all previous with the further upgrading of the tourism product of the region we are based

6. the mobilization and sensitization of local bodies and organizations on the dynamics of cultural, environmental, agricultural and tourist stock of our region
