Europa-Verein Borna e. V.

Europa-Verein Borna e. V. is a pro-European educational NGO in the semirural surrounding of Leipzig, trying to promote active European citizenship and intercultural as well as democracy education to people which are classically are not affected by these kinds of topics.

Most of we are dealing in grown up education and with a low barrier concept.

One of our main aim is promoting voluntary work and participating in the political process in a structural weak environment.

We offer:
- seminars on the history and function of EU desicion making
- film screening and discussions on European political and social topics
- panel discussions and talks with Members of the European Parliament and average people
- lectures about European travel destinations as well as countries in Europe and their social and political challenges

We would like to do in the future:
- study trips to places of European desicion making
- participate in Erasmus+ projects like youth exchanges and capacity building of youth workers and voluntary educators
