Eurocircle Rhône Alpes

Created in 1993 in Berlin, EUROCIRCLE is an NGO that carries out transnational projects especially in the field of international youth mobility, non-formal education and intercultural dialogue. These initiatives are designed to encourage the emergence of European citizenship based on the values of tolerance, equality, peace, solidarity and ecology.

The network EUROCIRCLE was at first a group of European project managers in the areas of social, vocational training and employment for young people and adults in difficulty. In 1995, the network constitutes as association within the frame of Law 1901 and settled in Marseille, France.

In 2014, a branch of the NGO EUROCIRCLE was created in Charbonnières-les-Bains in the Rhône-Alpes region. The purpose of the creation of EUROCIRCLE in Rhône-Alpes was to build a network in the region and to anchor the values, ideas, goals and expand the partners' networks.

The opening of the NGO in Charbonnières-les-Bains has allowed so far the organization of a European exchange, a Training Course on Prevention of addictions and also the participation of professionals or youngsters in Youth exchanges and Training Courses organized by our European partners.

Moreover, EUROCIRCLE Rhône Alpes quickly became a major player in the development of international mobility on the territory of West Lyon, since receiving its accreditation, in August 2015, as structure for Coordinating, Hosting and Sending for European Voluntary Service within Erasmus +.
