Erciyes University

Erciyes University was established in 1978 in Kayseri, Turkey. The university has been qualified amongst 10 research universities out of more than 200 universities in Turkey. It has 19 Faculties, 7 Institutes, 2 Vocational Colleges, 41 Research Centers, 5 Libraries and 140 Student Clubs and it also serves with its research hospital with 1350 beds. Graduate degree programs in Erciyes University became more recognizable especially after 1984. There are more than 50.000 undergraduate students, almost 6.000 master degree and 2.000 Ph.D.

Currently, there are more than 2.000 academic staff and around 5.000 administrative staff working at Erciyes University. There are hundreds of national and international projects being handled with the leadership or partnership or the university.

For example Erciyes Teknopark has achieved to be ranked as the 7th among 85 Technology Development Zones in Turkey. Also, according to 2019 UI GreenMetric World University Rankings, ERU became 2nd in the ranking among 43 Turkish universities. According to THE University Impact Rankings by Times Higher Education (THE) ERU was ranked 201-300 in the overall in the world, and according to ARWU (Academic Ranking of World Universities) 2019 World Universities Ranking ERU took a place in the 701-800 bracket among the foremost universities in the world.
The university has 100 bilateral Erasmus+ agreements with universities from all over Europe. Every year around 200 students joins a study or industrial placement program abroad.
