More than just a game!
C.I.S. is a Belgian non profit organization that consciously chooses games as an educational tool. For more than 40 years now, C.I.S. has been developing, producing, facilitating and distributing educational games.
Our educational games inform and sensitize children, youngsters and adults about different social issues such as democracy, north-south problems, intercultural learning, social skills, the environment, …
Information acquired through educational games is better assimilated, understood and remembered, especially as most are experience-based. Moreover games are fun!

Our working consists of 5 main activities:
Game development
Over the years we have built up lots of experience in the development of educational games. We develop games on request - always in cooperation with the organization - or on our own initiative. We also offer coaching in the development of educational games.
Game production
Throughout the years we’ve created a production team of our own. This team is specialized in designing and producing the right materials for each particular game. Doing so, we always aim for the best price-quality relation. Creative solutions within the partner’s budget are never far away.
Game facilitation
Our game trainers are all set to facilitate every educational game we have on offer. In a playful way they see to a fluent game course and a thorough debriefing afterwards.
Game training
We offer extensive training possibilities about different aspects of educational games. These sessions can include the characteristics, facilitation, debriefing, … of educational games in general or one game in particular. We also use our games as a means of dealing with a certain theme such as social skills, intercultural learning, Corporate Social Responsibility, facilitation skills, competences, … All our trainings are tailor-made.

In our game store in Leuven and on www.spelinfo.be, we offer a wide range of educational games, game books and game materials.
