Associação Cidadania Viva (ACV) is a portuguese non-profit non-governmental youth organization based in Amadora, just outside Lisbon and founded in 1999. We work with non-formal education, interculturality and social inclusion, targeting young people from different geographical, cultural and social backgrounds with ages from 15 to 30 years old. Our mission is to empower young people through their ingenious and art, turning them into active citizens in their community in support of a sustainable development.
The aim of the training course is capacitating youth workers and leaders with facilitation competences in the framework of international youth exchanges.
Inclusion of persons (especially young people) with some kind of impairment (e. g. blindness).
Youth democracy projecty on human rights, gender equality and related European policies.
A seminar about good practices within the Youth in Action programme
Raising young people's awareness on the Millennium Development Goals
Sexual Orientation and freedom of choice; Tolerance and mutual respect; GLBT; Anti-discrimination and anti-prejudice
