Asociacion Nauta

We are a group of young people between 18 and 25 years of age who live in different municipalities of Gran Canaria.
We study at the university in some cases, in others we study vocational training cycles. We met after having
participated in a training experience. We attended a training course on youth journalism. After
understand the social processes, consequences and realities of this issue, we immediately saw its importance not only for our local community, but for any young European. Thus, we understood that a project that starts from
us with a suitable approach can give us young Europeans a series of keys on the diffusion of
reliable information and in our own "language" that until today we did not handle. During the course a friendship was forged also based on common interests.

The aims of the Association are the following: a) To promote processes of active participation with the people of the environment through the promotion of cultural activities. b) Facilitate the integration of the recipients of the activities in the closest environment, through the implementation of projects both regionally, nationally and internationally. c) Promote and create resources that offer alternative and complementary spaces to people in their environment more next. d) Generate information networks that enable people to know their closest cultural reality and develop your capabilities.
