The Partner-Finding Tool
Our main activities include the organization of visits and meetings, European planning for public entities regarding youth, sport, local economic development, culture and cooperation with developing countries. We believe that a transnational experience could offer young people the opportunity to grow within a European dimension through their personal and professional skills, so they could be the main characters of the European future. We are confident that we could help them achieve this goal, and the European Voluntary Service is an invaluable source of formal and informal education which requires the active participation of beneficiaries in the development of daily activities such as the EVS and involved bodies, and about about citizenship towards the discovery of different cultures, traditions, languages that promote integration and Community spirit.
As an EVS coordinating organisation, we will do the following:
-select and prepare the beneficiaries,
-cultural training and orientation before departure,
-signature of contracts with host organisations and beneficiaries,
- Visits to check the development of the planned activities in the host organisation and the living conditions of beneficiaries
-be in continuous contact with the host organisations and beneficiaries throughout the entire stay through mail, messenger, skype and video conferencing between members of sending organisation involved in the programme (sending and host organisations) and volunteers,
- Management of accommodation for volunteers, taking into account their tastes and age, and ensuring acceptable living conditions and security;
-organisation and monitoring of evaluatiosn; volunteers will be supported by professionals who will help them to join in a new culture, apart from having a mentor during their whole stay (from arrival until departure).
-management of the administrative and financial part of the programme, agreeing with partners and volunteers the tasks, conditions, rights and duties, and the payment of the grant to volunteers and host organistion through bank transfers; for a better financial management all expenses and counts will be registered in books, so that partners and volunteers can consult at any time the financial development of the program;
-inform the project partners on the economic movements of the grant (on arrival, during the intermediate evaluation and at the end of the project)
-difuse the project in the organisation, local community and at a national level, as well as ensuring the transparency of the project;
-fulfill the aims and objectives of the EVS Charter.
Volunteers will contribute to reach the aims of the project writing fortnightly and monthly reports, the final report and a personal report on their experience. They will have the possibility of talking about their experiences and sharing them with the rest of the beneficiaries.
