IROKO DFS is a Spanish NGO formed in 2007 by a open group of students.
What is our purpose?
Raising awareness and training students and professional staff on the consequences of Climate Change, also on sustainable use of natural resources, specially tropical forests, plantations and agroforestry systems.
Promoting social-economic development of disadvantaged communities in developing countries through the sustainable use of their natural resources.
Promoting environmental conservation through the mentioned sustainable forest management.
Broadening the approach of non-formal education to address climate change from the relevance that forests have in its mitigation.
We want to create quality material for the transformation of bibliographic resources into interactive and online resources in non-formal education.
We are looking for NGOs working in International cooperation and tackling with Climate Change in their projects.
