ASOCIACIÓN CULTURAL INNUENDO

The “Asociación Cultural Juvenil Innuendo” (Youth cultural association Innuendo) is located in Santomera, Murcia (Spain). We are a non-profit association with the purpose of social integration of migrants, through musical, sports, playful and cultural activities in the frame of defending their human rights, apart from contributing to preserve the environment from a local unsustainable development.
As a proof, we participated in a training course about intercultural and diversity-competencies for young people that took place in 2008 in Berlin, designed by Opera Socialis in cooperation with “Eine Welt der Vielfalt”. Later on we participated in the Euro-Med training course on Human Rights Education and Conflict Resolution, coorganized by the Anna Lindh Foundation, the European Youth Centre of Budapest and the Council of Europe.. Nowadays we are developing two main projects, in which are involved migrant young people from a refugee house and different backgrounds. These projects are subsidized by the “Youth in Action” European Program and by the Council of Murcia.
Our main aim is to develop and strengthen the competences of multipliers active in human rights education and conflict resolution with young people in our local and regional area.
