All-Ukrainian Association for youth cooperation ALTERNATIVE-V

All-Ukrainian Association for youth Cooperation “Alternative-V”- is a non-political, non-profit non-governmental organisation, founded in 1992 and obtained all-Ukrainian status in 1999.

Alternative-V was created to facilitate cooperation between youth organisations, to involve Ukrainian and international young people into programmes, volunteer projects in the fields of non-formal education, culture, ecology, historical heredity protection and helping people with special needs.
Alternative-V wants to contribute to development of more peaceful society, to the decrease of social injustice.

The main activities of the organization include: short-term projects – international volunteer workcamps in different regions of Ukraine and in other countries, mid-term and long-term volunteer projects (ESC, Weltwärts), seminars, trainings, youth exchanges and educational programmes on both national and international level.

The organization is a member of CCIVS /UNESCO (Co-ordination Committee for International Voluntary Service) and Alliance of the European Voluntary Service Organisations.
The organization is official partner of SCI (Service Civil International).
