Act Big
The Act Big group, which now is kind of movement, was found in May 2012 by Piotr Kurszewski, Polish EVS volunteer in Cyprus, to support the most needy kids in the area suffering from cancer and other serious health diseases. The first big event, Act Big Charity Festival, is going to take place on 13th October 2012 in Cypriot village Avgorou, which purpose is to collect money to support those kids. Besides this main credo of Act Big, we are also into organizing creative initiatives for youth, so they can take part in something really meaningful. Our first Youth in Exchange project will take place in the March 2012 also in Avgorou and it's subject is stress management by sport activities and sport as a way of teambuilding above the culture differences and difficulties.
