Research Centre for Defence and Security

Research center for Defense and Security is a non government organization establish in Serbia on 26th
of April 2012. at Military Academy. The center was founded on a initiative of students and professors of
University of Belgrade ,and officers and cadets of Military academy. It was started with main goals and
project planning in the fields of : defense ,security , diplomacy, environment protection ,education, and
developing NGO sector .
RCDS has successfully completed more than 20 projects in cooperation with strong partners(University
of Belgrade ,NATO , Ministry of Internal Affairs, Electric power industry of Serbia…) over the past two
and a half years.
Main goals :
1. Raising awareness of citizens ,about security and defense thru organizing trainings seminars
,public discussions ,conferences;
2. Development of NGO sector and improving cooperation between NGOs;
3. Organization and coordination of scientific research ,
4. Improving and developing potentials of security on state and wider levels,
5. Organization of cultural projects and manifestations ,
6. Organization of expert and scientific exchanges, with Universities, Institutions and organizations
7. Organization of humanitarian and educational projects
And for realization of these goals :
1. Organizes trainings ,expert courses ,gatherings ,consulting ,seminars and other means of
education;
2. Cooperates with Institutions from fields of security defense ,education ,expert organizations
3. Organizes humanitarian actions for those in need
4. Organization of gathering of NGOs;
5. Organization and realizing projects and actions for environment protection , security, defense.. ;
