"VOICE OF THE YOUTH"

"VOICE OF THE YOUTH" is an association created entirely in the name of the development of the young people in Bulgaria, who are willing and able to realize their potential through community initiatives, commitment and realization of ideas, according to their capabilities in a common cause.

The motto of the Association was initially made of it`s members as follows:
"Listen to the younger generation, it has something to say!"

"VOICE OF THE YOUTH" was founded in 2007 , which is represented by it`s structure in Plovdiv.We have Chairman, Board of Directors consisting of 7 persons and Expert Council (32 people), which governs the structure throughout the country and all of it`s working groups. There are regional structures in Burgas, Sofia, Plovdiv, Ruse, Varna, Svishtov and others. Currently the Association "VOICE OF THE YOUTH" has about 3000 members and over 14,000 friends and followers in their groups and on websites. Our cause is to help us realize the enormous potential that lies in the people at our age. We want to give them the opportunity to them, to stimulate all the young people to prove theirself and to the society that our voice should be heard and that chance should be given on showing their capabilities.

Under the patronage of the Association are operating many interest clubs:

Club “Culture and Education”;
Club “Sport”;
Club “Tackling Youth Crime”;
Club “Marketing and PR”;
Club “Ecology” and others.

We are official representative of the International NGO Network "WE ARE TOGETHER". It has offices in 18 countries worldwide including USA, China, Germany and France. The seat of WE ARE TOGETHER is located in Russia, all contacts and work programs in Bulgaria are carried out by "VOICE OF THE YOUTH". The Association has agreements with dozens of partner organizations and NGOs. Works and cooperates actively with local and national authorities and institutions.

Through its association professionals "VY" - aims projects and programs of the European Union and state institutions, enabling the implementation of youth initiatives. The ambitions of the Board at the national level are implementating continuous training of its members, organizing roundtables and training seminars among students in Bulgarian universities. Activists of the Association are working continuously to stimulate the activity of the young. Work on various projects and activities aim promoting the group through mutual assistance, sharing experience and increasing the mutual potential as members of "VOICE OF THE YOUTH".
We are an NGO that operates in the field of the development and promotion the moral values, education, culture, sports and youth activities, as well as helping them to realize their part in the civil society. The Association wants to support the personal growth and recognition of all young people and social integration of disadvantaged youth in their social and cultural situation. The association is formed of young and experienced team, that has worked many years with youngsters in different social groups, helping them on their realization in society in many different spheres of activity.

The mission of the organization "VOICE OF THE YOUTH" is to establish equality of youth in society by encouraging them to show oneself their talents and skills, to stimulate them to heighten their self-realization in the desired field.

The main objectives are:
- Young people`s integration in the society, encouraging them in their future personal, social and professional development;
- Promoting their interests and abilities;
- Increasing the public awareness of the young people`s values and behavior;
- Helping young people with fewer social and cultural situation;
- Participation in developing strategies in various spheres of the public life;
- Promoting talented young people`s work;
- Promoting cooperation between Bulgarian and foreign youth organizations to exchange experience, education and culture values;
- Promoting the dialogue between youth from different EU member states.

RESOURCES FOR ACHIEVEMENT:
- Implementation of partnerships with state, municipal institutions;
- Communicating and working with Bulgarian and international non-governmental organizations working in the field of youth activities;
- Participation in the Bulgarian and international programs and projects;
- Organizing and training;
- Development of strategies and practices in the field of youth exchanges and cooperation;
- Programs and projects to protect the rights of young people;
- Developing a network of clubs for young people in their free time;
- Inclusion of the young people in modern information society;
-Implementation of educational, informational and training programs for students, employees;
- Support of active civil activities, targeted primarily at young people;
- Study the problems of youth;
- Conducting social activities for people in socially disadvantaged;
- Information and organization and funding of events and programs:
- Conducting concerts and organizing music and sporting events.

"VOICE OF THE YOUTH" has many clubs by interest in the Association and it`s Regional structures in Bourgas, Plovdiv, Varna, Sofia, etc. /.
