Ågårdens Ungefællesskab

Ågårdens Ungefællesskab is a youth community group located in inner Nørrebro, Copenhagen, Denmark.
We are a group of young people affiliated with this group from the ages of 16-19 who have contributed a lot to our local area on several different aspects.
We have arranged some debating events in collaboration with a community house called Kapelvej 44 and held a presentation at Folkemødet which is Denmark's biggest political festival on two occasions in partnership with ActionAid Denmark. We have also gone through several programs with them such as ''Young Leader Group'', in which we all participated, and ''Front Runner - For Change'' the course of which some of us have been a part of.
In addition, we have also achieved a lot of other things at events, etc.
Our key premise is to break down the walls we feel restricting ourselves and young people like us, and creating dialogue on both sides. We resemble young people who feel they are being spoken on behalf of and not with, struggling to break down the stigma that youngsters can not be included in situations that concern them as well as everyone else.
