PRACTICAL DETAILS FOR COORDINATORS

WHEN WE ARE AVAILABLE
15 June - 31 August only. Our participants are in school for the rest
of the year and we do not send during term time.
Participants in their final school year may only be available from
early July, because the Romanian Baccalaureate written exams fall in
late June.

TWO DEADLINES THAT MATTER
Partnership commitment: we need to be in your application before you
submit it. For a July or August activity that usually means agreeing
with you 5-8 months in advance.
Participant confirmation: 6-8 weeks before departure.

WHO WE SEND
4-8 participants aged 14-18, plus one adult group leader from our own
team. Mixed gender groups.
Our participants are national olympiad medallists in applied
informatics and cybersecurity, robotics competitors, and students who
present in English. They are used to competition formats, deadlines
and travelling as a delegation.

LANGUAGES
Participants work in English. Staff communicate in Romanian and
English.

WHAT WE HANDLE OURSELVES
Recruitment and selection, parental consents, insurance, travel
booking, and the group leader. We deliver our share of the reporting
on time.

TRAVEL
We are in Râmnicu Vâlcea, about two and a half hours by road from
Bucharest Otopeni (OTP), which is our departure airport. Cluj (CLJ) and
Craiova (CRA) are also reachable. Green travel by rail is possible for
destinations in Central Europe and we are open to it.
