Training Course

16-24 November 2021 | Chamonix, France

This international training course will provide useful and practical tools for youth workers and leaders, training on personal development and empowerment for successful peace education and education for peace.

 The project Ways to peace which will allow participants:

  • To develop competences of the participants in human rights promotion and protection, conflict
  • transformation, peace building and intercultural dialogue.
  •  To promote the presence and the role of young people as positive actors of change in peacebuilding processes;
  •  To strengthen the role of young people and youth NGOs in identifying and speaking up against human rights violations, including discrimination, hate speech and those human rights violations affecting especially young people and children;
  • To support the field presence of the European Commission in order to promote the values behind
  • the institution;
  • To develop competences of youth workers and youth leaders related to peace building
  • To provide space for cooperation and networking in the field of HRE and peace building


Participant's profile: 

The participants will be staff members, youth workers, youth leaders, professionals involved in education and/or training, volunteers working with young people and young leaders that meet the following criteria:
 

- Age: 18+

- Motivation to participate in 100% of the length of the project
-The need to improve skills and competencies within the topic of the project

- Commitment to follow up activities

- Commitment to disseminate the project results

- Direct or indirect work with youth with fewer opportunities

- Motivation to learn about gamification skills and share personal experience in using games

- Motivation to create and test educational games or gamified systems

- Experience in youth work and education
-Willingness to cooperate and develop future projects in Erasmus +

Please note that the working language of the training course is English.

All costs related to accommodation, and food (3 meals

per day- breakfast, lunch, supper and 2 coffee breaks) will be

covered by project’s budget.
