This is a training course based on theatre as tool for professional development for youth workers using methods of non-formal education. The training is based on practical work and involves 24 participants.
Social Lab76 is looking for 24 participants for the project: TUC- TRAINING USING CREATIVITY This is an international training course that will be held in the Province of Benevento, a small town in Southern Italy from the 13th to the 20th of April 2015. The training is targeting youth workers who want to develop their competences to work with and for young people, to share experiences applying youthwork at international level or at home. This project will also give you the possibility to make contacts for common future projects. It is a project based on theatre as tool for professional development, using methods of non-formal education and that demands an active participation of participants. The project aims to provide tools that can be applied in International and local youth work. The main theme throughout the project will be Intercultural dialogue and Arts. The training is based on practical work. The work will involve theatre workshop, physical work, movement work, team building, training and other theatrical methods. The work will primarily be creative, self reflective, collaborative, and intensive, largely movement and physical based. This training will be intensive, residential with no access to main urban areas. Having artists from all theatrical mediums (theatre, social theatre, performance art, physical theatre, dance) the project aims to bring together a group, which believe in Art as a tool for creating social change in society. Erasmus+ Programme funds the project. Methods and Activities are detailed and described in the attachment called INCA Kit. Working languages: English (plus some Italian) Criteria to participate − Being able to speak, understand and use English as a working language − Being able to work theatrically and physically − 2 years experience in theatrical field − Socially engaged, aware and interested. − Interested in using theatre and arts as a means of professional development − Young artists ready to participate actively in the project. − Able to attend the full duration of the training

Costs

Board, accommodation and training are fully covered by the organisers. The travel costs for selected participants are covered by the project, and they will be reimbursed up to a maximum amount. Maximum amount per country (including local transfers from your home to the airport and viceversa). - Bulgaria € 275.00 - Croatia € 180.00 - Czech Republic € 275.00 - Greece € 275.00 - Romania € 275.00 - Spain € 530.00 - Latvia € 275.00 Participation fee: 50 euros
