“Training on Quality and Professionalism of Multipliers in the Field of Social Youth Work for Cultural, Social and Religious NGOs” is a training course, which was developed as a module for youth workers/ NGO leaders from DE, RU, UA, Georgia and Armenia.
Brief Description of the training course: The term Civil Society has recently become a buzz word. Everyone speaks about it, but no one really knows what does it mean and people keep asking: Is it just about politics? Where does it start and end? How can we put it to our projects? How can we make it concrete and practical? “Training on Quality and Professionalism of Multipliers in the Field of Social Youth Work for Cultural, Social and Religious NGOs” is a training course, which was developed as a module for youth workers/ NGO leaders to help them to answer their questions concerning the active participation and building the strong civil society and ways of realization of their projects on the practical level. We will approach the idea of civil society and the project management issues. We will work on case, examples and civil society in practice. Together, we will be working on improving the methods on how to motivate youngsters for participation in their community and beyond. Aim: This training course aims to support the professional development of youth workers and NGO leaders and to raise the quality of their projects concerning the civil rights and active participation. • Particular objectives: • pointing out the connection between citizenship, responsibility for one‘s immediate environment and society and active participation, • strengthening the role and impact of the civil society and new democratic mentality through developing the project management skills of youth workers and NGO leaders Intercultural opening and co-operation of the participating organizations and countries Development of professional and personal skills of the participating youth workers, practical help for their activities and initiatives • Profile of the Participants:  Youth workers, youth leaders, activists  Able to work in English  Willing to share the new knowledge with the members of his/her organization once he/she gets back, act as multipliers  Able to attend the entire duration of the course  Motivated to take an active part in all the stages of the training course Group size and Partners: Target group of this project will be 25 youth leaders and active members of European youth organizations coming from Germany, Russia, Ukraine, Georgia and Armenia

Costs

Board and accommodation will be covered by the hosting organization. The travel costs will be reimbursed for the cheapest and direct way of transport and only under the condition that the participant will take part in the WHOLE project. The travel costs will be reimbursed up to the certain amount according to the rules. Maximum ammount of travel reimbursement per participant according to the country: Russia: 300 Euro Ukraine: 300 Euro Georgia:400 Euro Armenia: 400 Euro Germany: 120 Euro Visa costs can be reimbursed up to 35 Euro per participant. We will support participants who need a visa with the invitation letters. Project participation fee is 50 Euro.
