The main aim of the project is to empower youth workers and peer educators through improving their skills and competencies in the field of strategic planning that will later lead to improved strategic vision and developed plans for each organisation.

The project consists of two main activities: a training course and an evaluation meeting. At least half of the participants of this training course will be invited to take part in an evaluation meeting, after the follow-up activities in local communities. The exact location of the evaluation meeting is yet to be set, due to the uncertainties of the Covid-19 pandemic.

How will the TC look like?

We will use methods such as open space, videos, simulation games, free and structured debates, world café taking care to provide a strong experiential impact on participants and organisations.

Preparation of participants for the training course

In the preparation for the training course, participants will analyze existing situations in their organisations regarding Strategic planning, existing Strategic plans or some that have been created in the past. Also, they will analyze activities organisations are implementing for young people, who are their target group, what are their missions and objectives etc. They will need to investigate the number and activities of other NGOs from their community. They will use available graphs, charts and other research and policy papers in order to adapt the vision of their NGO to relevant data and situations in their communities.
