STUDY VISIT- THE INCLUSION OF YOUNG PEOPLE IN SITUATIONS OF VULNERABILITY-BEST PRACTICIES

Study Visit

2-8 March 2026 | Jesús (Tortosa), Spain

This study visit amis to share effective ways to support young people in vulnerable situations, learn from successful initiatives, and improve responses to social, educational, and economic challenges.

Aims of the visit:

The main aim of this study visit is to explore and promote effective practices for the inclusion of young people facing vulnerable situations. We seek to understand the challenges these young individuals experience and identify successful approaches to overcome social, economic, and educational barriers. Through exchanging knowledge and experiences, the visit intends to:

  • Foster collaboration between organizations and stakeholders working with vulnerable youth.
  • Highlight innovative projects and methodologies that have proven effective in empowering young people.
  • Promote social integration, participation, and active citizenship among young people at risk of exclusion.
  • Share tools and resources that enhance the capacity of practitioners to support vulnerable youth.
  • Create a network of partners and best practices that can be adapted and replicated in different contexts.

Participants profile:

  • Age: +18
  • To have experience and work with young people with diversity (social obstacles, diversity, intellectual disability) demonstrable.
  • Able to send and host young people with different programs from EU.
  • Interested in learning and sharing best practices related to the topic
  • Eager to improve social inclusion methods
  • Linked to organizations supporting vulnerable youth
  • Working knowledge of English, the working language of the activity
  • Available to actively attend the full duration of the activity
  • Experience in youth empowerment programs or willing to engage with them

PLEASE AVOID PEOPLE THAT HAVE NO EXPERIENCE WITH THE TOPIC

Main activities:

  • Presentation of your best practices in your entity that are involving young people at risk of exclusion.
  • Presentation of  your entity to other organizations at local level and  young people.
  • Visits to different local organizations working with vulnerable groups
  • Talks about local experiences about working with young people with disabilities.
  • Networking activities.

Compromises:

  • To attend 2 preliminar meetings online.
  • To be able to attend all the days of the study visit.
  • To pay your ticket in advance.
  • To be able to explain your methods and entity in from of an audience.

The organization was created in 2005 by a group of young people. Nowadays the organization is managing projects addressed to young people and women (specially the ones who face greater difficulties).

Accomodation: Shared/ Individual rooms in the Hostel of La Consolació in Jesús (Tortosa).

Food: will be served by cathering or restaurant.

Travel reimbursement

According to E+ Accreditation. Previous to the booking the hosting entity will give you the approval.
